Vampirina 'Face the Music' Storyboards - 'Better Together' Song Sequence

So I’ve FINALLY gotten around to posting some of the storyboarding work I did on Disney Junior’s ‘Vampirina’ - and in the process finally prove to the world that I didn’t spend 2 years of my life at home doing nothing but play Overwatch and Fifa (although that happened too…a lot... :P)

This sequence of storyboards is the final song sequence from one of the first episodes I storyboarded on Season 2 of the show - titled “Face the Music”, directed by @Petemcevoy at Brown Bag Films.

It’s always really satisfying to see the ideas I came up with actually work (miraculously) in 3D, and I’ve tried to show a few examples of this in some of the side-by-side stills I’ve added here. There were a couple of really good changes made to what I’d done in the finished product (particularly the omission of all the crazy lighting effects that I got waaaay too carried away with, haha) but the team mostly adhered to what I’d done here.
